If your in a hurry and want to make something drool worthy to go with your meal here is a simple and quick recipe just for you!
You will need:
- Garlic Salt
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 cup of room temperature or melted butter
- 1 loaf of bread (preferably homemade or from a bakery)
Begin by placing your loaf of bread on a cutting board. Use a bread knife and begin cutting the bread diagonally leaving 1 to 2 inches of space between each slice. Do NOT cut all the way through the bread. Once finished cutting the bread start to cut diagonally in the opposite direction. This will create a diamond pattern across the face of your bread which will be perfect for your next step.
Taking your butter begin spreading it into all the creases. To make this even easier you can simply warm the butter in the microwave and pour over the bread. Grate up around 2 – 3 cups of cheese and try your best to stuff the cheese into the openings. Finally, sprinkle garlic salt over the bread. This could take anywhere from 2- 4 teaspoons depending on your love of garlic and the size of your bread. Place into a 275 degree oven and let the bread sit in the over for roughly ten to twenty minutes. The time will vary on your oven. The goal is to warm the bread and melt the cheese into a delicious yummy treat!
