Quick Raspberry Jam

Are you in need of jam but don’t have any laying around? Do not fear! Here is a simple and quick recipe for your very own jam.

Raspberry Blueberry Bagels

You will need:

  • 500g  fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 500g  (2½ cups) sugar
  • 1 tsp butter

Simply add the raspberries into a pot and let warm (do this slowly) once warm add sugar and butter. Begin to mix together. This will take roughly 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for a half hour. Pour mixture into 1 – 2 mason jars and seal.

If your looking for a single serving of jam that is even easier then the recipe above simply grab a microwave safe bowl and throw a handful of raspberries into it. Microwave for twenty second intervals and mix between each one. This could take three to six intervals in the microwave. Stir in 1 – 2 teaspoons of sugar and let cool.

Don’t forget that you don’t have to use raspberries either. You could use any type of fruit really like strawberries or even blue berries instead.
